@oddio95 Thats a good question about the Messenger 2 because my phone (Messenger1) has taken a beating and they obviously they dont sell these anymore so, I also would like to know about that. You dont have to start it, just download it and let it sit on your desktop without ever clicking into it. As long as it says Samsung Technologies on the bottom right of your computer, then your good.

Great vid,will this work the same for a messager II,the upgraded fone to this one.
Also do you have to start the samsung pc studio,then plug in your fone?

@Eagle63764 Did you dowload the Samsung proram? your laptop needs to identify the usb when you plug it in. The way the video is demostrating is different for me because I have XP. Its really helpful once you get truely connected the only thig is that it gradually eats away at your internal memory but you can work around that simply by going to the internet options and deleting the temp files and so on.

is metro pcs straight talk like r they the same providers???…. and what do i need to do i got phone tethering all set up and it was working fine it connects at 240.3kbps and i was able to surf the web pretty fast but now when i try it says this device is currently not authorized for dial-up networking and i have messed with the proxy and i am tired of messin with it idk what to do i live in the country and only have dial-up it connects at 49.2 its slow and i want decenty fast internet.plz help

Ok sir i finally got my phone hooked up to my laptop as an internet modem and my phone even makes a data call and my laptop says connected to internet or whatever but anyway when i try to get on the internet it says this device is not authorized to access dial-up network and i know if i ive got it this far that it should prob just be something little right how do i access the acctual internet like google and youtube with out it sayin that.thx

@joseakc ve en tu telefono en la pagina principal con tu wallpaper. Despues oprima menu, 9, #, y pones tu codigo que creo que es 587846. Luego vas a DUN y pones activar. Listo. Suigue las demas instrucciones.
